One of OFC’s premier stillwater destinations, Rainier Lakes consists of five man-made bodies of water surrounded by 900 acres of forest land. These lakes have all the major characteristics of an excellent trout and bass fishery: good water depth, excellent cover, rich organic material from decaying old growth, and an abundant population of aquatic insects. This area is located approximately 11 miles south of Rainier, Oregon, and 75 minutes from downtown Portland. Float tubes and pontoon boats are perfect here. Camping areas situated on the property have garbage cans, restrooms, fire pits, and picnic tables. No bait is allowed except for at Rainier Pond, where members can keep 4 trout per month, per membership.
